Make sure you include a bio and contact details, all the usual stuff really.
Want to send it to a specific presenter or program?
Mark it ATT: name of presenter or program. Ie if you’re a Tassie artist, mark it ATT: Tasmusica. We’ll pass it on to the right people for you.
Music enquiries including receipt of CDs & airplay:
If you want to check the status of the CD you’ve sent us, email music@edgeradio.org.au or check the New Music Page. We try and get through everything we’re sent but it may take several weeks so be patient. If we like your stuff we’ll add it to our catalogue for everyone to enjoy.
Bands requesting interviews:
Email interviews@edgeradio.org.au with your request and availability for phoners and in-studios. We get lots of requests so make sure you give us plenty of notice. We try our best but sometimes we just can’t fit everyone in.
Non-music interview requests:
Email news@edgeradio.org.au and programs@edgeradio.org.au with your media release and availability for phoners and in-studios. We’ll pass it on to the programs we think would be interested and let them contact you if they’re keen.
Ticket giveaways for music & arts/cultural events:
We can only do giveaways as part of a promotional campaign. According to our license, Edge cannot broadcast more than 5 minutes of promotional announcements per hour, and on-air giveaways are counted in that time.
