Edge Radio, in conjunction with the University of Tasmania’s School of Management, conducted a comprehensive survey of 800 Hobart residents aged 10+

  • 32% of radio listeners in Hobart are listening to EDGE RADIO
  • 65% of survey participants were aware of Edge Radio: Our brand is now widely recognized
  • 59% of Edge Radio listeners did NOT cite advertisements as a reason they switch stations: Your promotions are unobtrusive, inoffensive, and with less than 5 minutes sponsorship in any given hour, your message doesn’t get lost
  • 78% of Edge Radio’s listeners DO NOT use Edge Radio as background Noise: Our listeners are active listeners
  • 60% of Edge Radio listeners attend live music events each month: Our listeners are active participants in the Hobart arts community and know their music
