No Sister originally formed as a duo in Brisbane in 2013. Mino Peric and Tiarney Miekus (guitars and vocals), moved to Melbourne in 2015 and teamed up with Murray Coggan on drums. Josh Watson joined the band on bass in late-August 2017.
No Sister released their first self-titled album in August 2016. The band also released a split cassette with Bitumen on Vacant Valley in April 2017.
The Second Floor was recorded by John Lee at Phaedra studios in Melbourne.
