What I Say is what is good. It’s the music you should be listening to, instead of the junk you actually do listen to…punk.
The show covers all genres from all eras with a particular focus on Blues, Reggae, Jamaican Dub, Punk, New Wave, Abstract Jazz, Gospel, African, Hip Hop, Brit-pop, Folk, Soul, Funk, Outsider and Outernational, New Zealand, and Krautrock.

What I Say is hosted by three presenters on a 3-weekly rotation, Elliott, Ben, and Rob.
Ben has worked in community radio since 1998, first presenting Gimcrack Radio on 92.1 Hobart FM and then getting involved with Edge Radio since our first broadcast in 2002. Off-air Ben works as a teacher in a career focused on disability support and advocacy, he is also a musician, DJ, and sound artist and manages Hobart independent record label, Consumer Productions.
