The original Mods (scooter riding, snappy dressers) danced the night away to modern jazz, R&B, Beat, upbeat (Northern) Soul and Jamaican ska. Mod/ska revivals have also coincided with punk, power pop, new wave and a continuing Northern Soul scene.
