Brisbane rock outfit Radium Dolls return with their second album Wound Up, released on January 30, 2026. Following the momentum of singles ‘Scorching Heat’, ‘Golden Boy’, ‘Unravel’, ‘Moving’ and ‘Daddy’, the album captures a band pushing forward under pressure, balancing work, relationships and life alongside an uncompromising drive to create.
Written across fragmented writing sessions and jam-led rehearsals, Wound Up reflects the realities of making art when time and certainty are scarce. Some tracks came together in a single day, others evolved over months, resulting in a dynamic record that moves between anthemic rock, sharp but vulnerable lyricism and rhythmic urgency – it’s the feeling of being “wound up” but continuing regardless.
The album follows a period of sustained growth for the band since their debut album Legal Speed in March 2024, including multiple sold-out headline tours and consistent community radio airplay.
Wound Up is a front-to-back album built for performance and connection; cathartic, driven and unapologetically honest. Radium Dolls continue to cement themselves as one of Australia’s most vital contemporary rock acts.
