In Light of Recent Events is the surprise fifth album from legendary Naarm/Melbourne band Eddy Current Suppression Ring, out now on Suppression Records.
Their first full length album in seven years, In Light Of Recent Events is the long-awaited follow-up to All In Good Time, which dropped in 2019, as well as their Shapes and Forms EP, which they surprise released last year.
Developed through weekly jams in their practice space, the record arrives off the back of a string of electrifying live shows around the country, including three feverishly attended dates in Hobart earlier this year.
Unsurprisingly, the vinyl run sold out almost immediately, but fear not – the band expect to have more copies available very soon.
