Edge Radio kicked off its annual fundraiser with a bang — or should we say, a buzzer! Last Thursday, more than 100 people packed into Altar Bar as we took over their regular trivia night for a very special edition, held as part of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) annual conference.
With community broadcasters and like-minded legends from across the country joining in, it was a night full of laughs, friendly competition, and big-hearted support for community radio. Together, we raised $1,700 — funds that will go directly towards upskilling young people, giving them a platform on-air and online, and supporting Tasmanian musicians.
